Delhi blasts: No terrorists' arrested from Bangalore
Monday, November 7 2005 19:17 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: Karnataka Director General and Inspector General of Police B S Sial today (Nov 07, 2005) dismissed media reports regarding arrest of some terrorists in the city as mere 'rumours'.

"It is a good news for me, if such arrests had been made. If it were to be true I would have happily shared that information with the press", Sial said when reporters queried him on whether the police have arrested some terrorists whose role has been suspect in recent triple bomb blasts that rocked Delhi.

He also spiked reports that a seven-member terrorist gang had taken shelter in a city hotel for a few days and fled after the police stepped up security measures.

"We had information from Delhi police that terrorists involved in the blasts might have been holed up in Bangalore and much before getting the tip, the state police particularly the city cops have begun search operations", Sial said.
