IA to re-introduce flights b/w B'lore & Puttaparthy

Bangalore: Indian Airlines will re-introduce flights between Bangalore and Puttaparthy with effect from November 14.

The new flights IC 969/970 will be operating thrice a week with an Airbus A320 aircraft offering both Executive and Economy class services, an IA release said.

The flight IC 969 will depart Bangalore at 1030 hrs on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays to reach Puttaparthy at 1100 hrs. In the return direction, the flight IC 970 will leave Puttaparthy at 1135 hrs to reach Bangalore at 1205 hrs, it said.

The new flight provides convenient connection for passengers arriving into the city from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and also from International destinations, it said.

Special introductory fares as low as Rs 850 (inclusive of taxes) are available for sale with immediate effect, the release said.
