Sri Lankan PM wins presidency: official results

Colombo: Sri Lanka's socialist Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse won the presidency with 50.33 per cent of the popular vote, according to official results released today (Nov 18, 2005) by the elections' commissioner.
