Kalavai (TN): For the first time after a gap of over three months, Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi and his Junior Vijayendra Saraswathi are to arrive here tomorrow (Nov 19, 2005).

Spotlight: Kanchi Jayendra Saraswathi's Arrest

Mutt sources said the seers would be staying in the Kalavai asharm for three-days and perform poojas. The seers are also scheduled to go to Villupuram for temple visits.

From Villupuram, they would be going to Pondicherry, where the trial in the Sankararaman murder case is to begin on November 26 at the Pondicherry Sessions court.

On October 26, the Supreme Court had ordered the shifting of the case pending against Jayendra Saraswathi and others before the Principal Sessions court, Chengalpattu, to the Principal District and Sessions Court, Pondicherry.

Due to the petition filed by Jayendra Saraswathi in the Apex Court seeking transfer of the case, framing of charges in the case had been getting adjourned during the past three months.

After the release of the seers on bail they had been staying in Kalavai, but later they left for Tirupati to stay for three months to observe 'Chaturmasya'.
