Hyderabad: A police team from Bhopal has submitted a production warrant against Monica Bedi, girlfriend of underworld don Abu Salem, in a passport forgery case.

The team left without the custody of Bedi yesterday (Nov 20, 2005) as she is in judicial remand till November 25 and lodged in Chanchalguda jail, CBI sources said.

The police team arrived here after obtaining a production warrant from a Madhya Pardesh court and served it to the jail authorities seeking custody of Bedi, the sources said.

On November 12, special judge for CBI C V Subrahmanyam sent Bedi to judicial remand till November 25 for seeking passport under fictitious name from Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh in 2001.
