Bihar results: RJD-led alliance in for major losses Tuesday, November 22 2005 11:50 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

The NDA appeared to be heading for a major victory in Bihar, in the second assembly election in nine months, winning two seats the result of which were declared.
The NDA was leading in 103 places as several heady weights of the RJD-led Secular Democratic Front including former chief minister Rabri Devi were trailing.
JD(U) and its ally BJP retained Harnaut and Rajgir.
While Rabri Devi is trailing her JD(U) rival Satish Kumar by 1688 votes, a host of ministers in her erstwhile government, Raghvendr Pratap Singh (Barahra), Srinarain Yadav (Balia), Shakuni Chaudhary (Tarapur), Upendra Prasad Verma (Jamalpur), Shivanand Tiwari (Shahpur), Aditya Singh (Hisua) and Ram Lakhan Ram Rama (Khajauli) were also behind.
Two minister in the erstwhile Rabri Devi cabinet Ramai Ram (Bochaha) and Ramchandra Purve (Sonbarsa) are, however, leading.
JD(U) candidates are leading in 61 constituencies and BJP in 42.
The SDF which appeared to be in for major losses, is leading in 56 of the 187 constituencies trends of which were available till 1030 hrs.
RJD itself is leading in 41 places, and its allies Congress in 10, CPI-M four and NCP in one.
BSP of Mayawati was leading in four, while Samajwadi Party of Uttar Pradesh strongman Mulayam Singh Yadav was ahead in two.
LJP Is leading in 12 places and its ally CPI (02). Kos Vikas Party was ahead in one, while Independents were leading in seven seats.
