Nitish to be sworn in as Bihar CM on Thursday

New Delhi: Janata Dal (JD) United (U) leader Nitish Kumar is expected to be sworn in as Chief Minister in Patna at the Gandhi Maidan at 1300 hours on Thursday.

Kumar is leaving for Patna tomorrow (Nov 23, 2005) where a meeting of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MLAs will be held to formally elect the 54-year-old engineer-turned politician as their leader, sources close to him said here.
