Poll outcome victory of truth over falsehood: JD (U)

New Delhi: Describing National Democratic Alliance (NDA) victory in Bihar as one of 'truth over falsehood', Janata Dal (JD) United (U) President George Fernandes today (Nov 22, 2005) said there were many challenges which chief ministerial candidate Nitish Kumar would have to face.

"The fight that we had started 12 years ago against Lalu Prasad's corrupt rule has come to an end today," he told a press conference here, after the NDA combine won a clear majority.

Fernandes was flanked by Kumar and JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav.

"This was not a small fight, not one of words, it was a victory of truth over falsehood," he said.
