The Bihar cabinet will meet here tomorrow (Nov 25, 2005) to finalise the date for the inaugural session of the state legislature during which he would seek the customary vote of confidence, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said here today (Nov 24, 2005).
"The state cabinet will meet here tomorrow to decide on convening the inaugural session of the state legislature," Kumar told his maiden press conference at the old secretariat here after assuming office.
Kumar, who drove straight to the secretariat after according a warm send off to VVIPs, including former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President L K Advani, who attended his oath-taking ceremony, also inspected a guard of honour.
A large number of employees of the secretariat thronged the sprawling campus to catch a glimpse of new Chief Minister.
