Raj's supporters stone 'Saamna' editor Raut's car

Mumbai: As Shiv Sena leader Raj Thackeray announced his resignation from the post of President of Bhartiya Vidyarthi Sena, Shiv Sena's students wing, angry BVS supporter attacked the car of Sanjay Raut, Executive Editor of Shiv Sena's mouthpiece 'Saamna'.

Raut and Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi had been at Raj's bungalow in Dadar here since this morning, trying to pacify Raj and bring about reconciliation between him and Uddhav camp.

Raj's supporter went beserk and began stoning Raut's car, parked outside, after Raj announced his decision to quit his posts in the party organization before the media persons.

Police had to step in to stop them.
