3 Indian Shiite pilgrims killed in Baghdad attack

Baghdad: Three Indians were killed when a bus packed with Shiite pilgrims came under fire in southern Baghdad today (Nov 28, 2005), police said.

Unknown gunmen opened fire on the bus, also injuring the driver, as the pilgrims were travelling on a road to the Shiite holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, said police.
