Senior Shiv Sena leaders gathered at the 'Matoshree' residence of Sena chief Bal Thackeray at suburban Bandra to discuss the situation developed after the resignation of senior party leader Raj Thackeray from the party posts.
Sena leaders have gathered at Matoshree, where they are reportedly meeting Sena chief and the Executive President, Uddhav Thackeray, to discuss the aftermath of Raj's resignation as member of Party Executive and Chief of Sena youth wing, the Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena.
Senior Sena leader and former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi, who also met the elder Thackeray at Matoshree told media that the discussions were still on.
"Senior Sena leaders along with the Sena supremo are still discussing on the Raj issue," Joshi said, before he left the place along with Leader of Opposition in legislative assembly, Ramdas Kadam. Joshi and Kadam did not disclose where they were heading to.
The Sena supremo held a meeting with senior party leaders yesterday (Nov 27, 2005) that continued till late midnight, sources said.
