Train carrying MP CM stopped following bomb call

Jhansi: A train, in which Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was travelling, was stopped here today (Nov 28, 2005) after an anonymous person called up police and said that a bomb had been planted in it.

The Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express was stopped at around 10.45 AM and bomb squads and sniffer dogs were searching it, police sources said.

However, no suspicious object has been found so far, they added.

Chauhan, who was named Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister on Saturday was on his way to Bhopal to attend the BJP legislature party meeting.
