Amitabh Bachchan condition stable; to undergo tests

Mumbai: The condition of the Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was admitted to Leelavati Hospital in suburban Bandra here following abdominal pain, is stable and he would undergo a few tests today (Nov 29, 2005), hospital sources said.

The 63-year old actor has been kept under observation, and will be resting in the hospital, they said.

The test results would be available in the evening, the sources added.

Bachchan was first admitted to Escorts hospital in Delhi yesterday (Nov 28,2005) from where he was flown in here last evening.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and Bachchan's son Abhishek visited him at Leelavati Hospital this morning.
