Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent a series of tests at the Escorts hospital in Delhi after complaining of abdominal pain, was admitted to Leelavati Hospital in suburban Bandra yesterday night (Nov 28, 2005).

"Doctors are examining him", according to spokesperson of Leelavati Hospital Dr Narendra Trivedi.

Bachchan was discharged from Escorts hospital in Delhi, where he was admitted in the morning after complaining of abdominal pain.

The 63-year-old Bachchan, accompanied by his actor-son Abhishek, underwent a series of tests during the day.

However, Escorts Director and leading cardiologist Naresh Trehan in Delhi said the actor was feeling better than before. "It was just a stomach ache", he added.

Asked whether he was suffering from food poisoning, Trehan said. "something like that".
