Hinting at possible disciplinary action against Uma Bharti, senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan today (Nov 29, 2005) announced suspension of six party leaders, including former Union Minister Prahlad Patel, for 'violent and unruly incidents' during yesterday's Madhya Pradesh Legislature Party meeting here.
"BJP Parliamentary Board would meet in New Delhi tomorrow and it would be apprised of Bharti's behaviour at the Legislature Party meeting yesterday as also her activities today", Mahajan told reporters here.
The Parliamentary Board would examine the matter and take decision whether Bharti's behaviour should invite disciplinary action, Mahajan, who along with senior party colleagues Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh, had supervised the meeting as Central Observers, said.
