New Delhi:
The maximum waiting period for visa for those intending to go to the US may soon be reduced to two weeks.
A top US Embassy diplomat said here the mission intended to achieve this goal by December this year.
Bob Blake, while interacting with business leaders at the World Economic Forum India Economic Summit here, said the demand for US visas was growing at 10 per cent per annum and the Mission was making all efforts to meet the requirements.
He said the demand had grown mainly because of the increasing engagement between the two countries, like trade expansion and open skies agreement.
