Hyderabad: The orders on bail petition of Monica Bedi, girl friend of underworld don Abu Salem, was posted for December nine by a special CBI court here today (Dec 1, 2005).

The special judge for CBI C V Subramanyam after hearing the arguments had reserved his judgment on the bail petition moved by Bedi for today on November 28.

As the judge Subramanyam was on leave till December 12, the matter was taken up by special judge for Economic Offences G Chakradhar Rao who posted the orders for December nine, the last day of judicial remand of Bedi who is now in Chanchalguda jail in a passport forgery case.

Bedi, a former Bollywood starlet extradited from Portugal along with the gangster, was flown to the city on November 11.
