LCA PV-II makes successful maiden flight in B'lore

Bangalore: In another milestone, Prototype Vehicle-II (PV-II) of indigenously designed and developed Light Combat Aircraft Tejas made a successful maiden flight here today (Dec 1, 2005).

The duration of the flight was 26 minutes, Defence Research and Development Organisation sources said. It was piloted by Wg. Cdr Vikram Singh, who said the PV-2 behaved well and it was on expected lines.

Tejas was designed and developed by Bangalore-based Aeronautical Development Agency.
