Raj keeps every one guessing on his future moves Sunday, December 4 2005 18:16 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Mumbai:
A day after disgruntled Shiv Sena leader Raj Thackeray returned to Mumbai after a brief visit to Pune, he continued to keep supporters and opponents guessing of his future moves.
Raj, who returned from Pune last night (Dec 3, 2005), remained at his 'Krishna Kunj' house in Dadar of central Mumbai during most of the day today, even as a few Sena legislators and corporates visited him.
A large number of activists of the Sena students' outfit, the Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena, remained gathered outside Raj's house with a hope that their leader would address them similar to how he did on November 27, when he announced resignation from party posts in protest of the style of functioning of the Sena leadership.
However, the activists were disappointed as neither Raj emerged out of his house, nor did he signal any new development through his trusted lieutenants.
Meanwhile, media personnel posted outside Sena supremo's residence 'Matoshree' swung into action following a rumour that Sena chief Bal Thackeray was likely to visit Raj to placate him.
However, Sena sources said that the chief has no such plan and he was taking rest at his residence.
Meanwhile, the Sena MLAs, led by leader of opposition in legislative assembly, Ramdas Kadam, who made an in vain attempt to meet Raj Thackeray thrice in order to placate him, have now left for Nagpur to attend the winter session of legislature, beginning from tomorrow.
