Natwar meets Sonia; resignation after PM returns

New Delhi: Minister without portfolio K Natwar Singh met Congress President Sonia Gandhi here today (Dec 6, 2005).

This is his second meeting with Gandhi after his late night discussions yesterday with her when he had offered to quit the Government after the return of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tomorrow.

At today's brief meeting also Natwar Singh is understood to have reiterated his intention to resign once the Prime Minister returns from Russia.
