Four killed, several injured in B'desh bomb blasts

Dhaka: At least four people, including a child and a suspected suicide bomber, were killed and several others injured in bomb explosions in the northern Bangladesh town of Netrokona yesterday (Dec 7, 2005), witnesses said.

While police confirmed only one dead and more than 40 injured from the powerful blasts in Ajohar Road in front of local Udichi cultural office, witnesses and media reports said two to three bombs exploded in the town killing an official of the Udichi group which belongs to left political groups of Bangladesh along with one suspected suicide bomber.

NTV reported that the fourth victim was a child who died at a nearby hospital.
