Bhopal: Underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend Monica Bedi was sent back to Hyderabad today (Dec 8,2005) after completion of police interrogations here in a fake passport case against her, police said.

Bedi, who was remanded to judicial custody by a local court till December 20, was sent by a train this morning amidst tight security, Superintendent of Police A K Singh said.

"A 20-member police team, including women personnel, escorted Bedi in a special bogie to Hyderabad, from where she was brought on December 4 and remanded to two days' police custody on December 5, for interrogation," he said.

Judge Dinesh Kumar Dangi is scheduled to pronounce his order on Bedi's bail application tomorrow (Dec 9,2005), police said adding that she was facing similar charges in Hyderabad.
