The inaugural event, which saw participation of 109 companies from 20 countries, 64 international and 45 Indian, concluded here last evening with organisers declaring that it would be an annual affair.
"We are already in discussion with the Aviation Ministry, Airports Authority of India and Director General of Civil Aviation exploring avenues for holding the next edition of Aerodrome India in New Delhi," said Pradeep Devaiah, Chairman and CEO of PDA Trade Fairs, the organisers.
"Proposals made by participants at the Bangalore event would be submitted to the Civil Aviation Ministry in the form of a document, which would include new challenges posed to airline operations and urgency for developing airport infrastructure on war-footing to cater to a vibrant and dynamic industry," Devaiah said.
