Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was released on bail after being arrested for allegedly hitting a boy with his land cruiser last night in suburban Andheri, police sources said here today (Dec 10, 2005).

A thirteen-year-old boy was hurt last night when the land-cruiser, driven by the actor himself, ran into him, sources said.

The actor himself then took the injured boy to a nearby private hospital and informed the police about the mishap, police sources said.

Accident took place near Bhavans College in Andheri at about 1.30 am.

The injured boy was discharged from the hospital today morning, sources said.
