First Amritsar-Lahore Bus crosses over to Pakistan

Wagah (Amritsar): The First Amritsar-Lahore bus, on a trial run, crossed over to Pakistan through the land route at the Indo-Pak Wagah border here today (Dec 11, 2005).

Spotlight: Kashmir is NOT negotiable

The bus started from the 'Youth Hostel' in Amritsar, which has been made the international terminal for the bus service, at 9.00 a.m.

The bus, which carried nine passengers, crossed the Radcliffe at 10.40 a.m. It would return to Amritsar tomorrow.
