Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan today (Dec 12, 2005) appeared before the Andheri metropolitan court to get his bail endorsed in the road accident case in which Saif's car hit a 13-year-old boy at Andheri on Friday night.

Saif, clad in blue jeans and white shirt, reached the Andheri court, where he would ask the court for endorsement of the bail granted to him by the D N Nagar police.

The actor was returning home in his Landcruiser SUV, when the vehicle hit a boy, Shakil Sheikh in front of Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan college in Andheri.

The boy escaped with a fracture, but Saif took him to hospital and has promised the boy's family to bear all medical expenses.

Later, he reported the matter to police, which arrested him and subsequently released him on bail.
