Sankararaman murder case adjourned to Dec 19

Pondicherry: The trial of Sankararaman murder case in which Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi and his junior Vijayendra Saraswathi are the main accused, was adjourned to December 19 by a sessions court here today (December 12, 2005).

As the case came up before the court, the Principal District and Sessions Judge M Chinnapandi adjourned it to December 19.

The case had been transferred to the Pondicherry court on a petition filed by the Seer, who apprehended that he may not get a fair trial in Tamil Nadu.
