Moderate earthquake shakes Delhi, Uttaranchal today

New Delhi: A moderate intensity earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, shook the national capital and Uttaranchal today (Dec 14, 2005), Met Department said.

Spotlight: Quake in North India

The quake, struck at 1239 IST, was epicentred at Chamoli in Uttaranchal.

There was no immediate report of any casualty or damages.
