Advani not to resign in BJP national convention

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President L K Advani will not resign at the upcoming BJP national convention in Mumbai but only after that.

"The term of Advani's successor would be for one year only as the tenure of the present National Council of the party expires in February, 2007," party general secretary Pramod Mahajan announced here today.
