Information about threat came from Chennai: Patil
Friday, December 16 2005 14:03 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Home Minister Shivraj Patil today (Dec 16, 2005) said the information about the bomb threat in Parliament came from Chennai.

It was received both by the Intelligence Bureau and the US embassy and the place from where it has come has also been 'tracked', he said.

Patil said the entire Parliament complex had been thoroughly searched and nothing had been found so far.

Another search was being carried out, he said adding there was no need to panic and everything was all right.

"I think everything is all right. The whole thing is being enquired into. We don't want to take any chance," Patil said.
