Statement likely on Parliament bomb threat: Achari

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Secretary General P D T Achari today (Dec 16, 2005) indicated that there would be a statement in Parliament soon after both the Houses would reassemble at 1500 hours after their abrupt adjournment following a bomb threat.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, who was flooded with calls on the situation in the Parliament complex, said there was no cause for panic.

He appealed to the members to be present when both Houses reassemble.
