Sasaram (Bihar): Communist Party of India (Maoist) ultras blew up a stone crushing plant of former Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Gopal Narain Singh in the extremist-hit Rohtas district in wee hours today, police said.

Hundreds of heavily armed naxalites descended on the plant at Karwandia under Mufassil police station of the district around 1 AM, forced the labourers present there to vacate the place and blew it up with dynamites, they said.

They also set fire to Singh's office at the plant, police said adding no arrests have so far been made though raids are continuing.
