Mumbai:
Air India today (Dec 20, 2005) ordered a probe into the emergency landing of its Delhi-bound flight with 273 passengers and crew on board at the Los Angeles International Airport following bursting of a tyre while taking off from the airport.
All those on board the aircraft were safe, an Air India spokesman told sources here.
He said that engineers were attending to the aircraft and depending upon the serviceability it would depart again or else the passengers would be accommodated by another airline.
The passengers, he said, were being accommodated in a hotel for the time being.
