Cash for query scam: Report to be tabled tomorrow Wednesday, December 21 2005 19:31 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Pawan Kumar Bansal, Chairman of the Lok Sabha Committee that went into the 'cash for query' scam involving 10 of its members, presented its report to Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today (Dec 21, 2005).
He presented the report five minutes before the 1600 hours deadline set for the purpose, sources said.
The report is expected to be tabled in the House tomorrow.
Soon after the scam, exposed by a sting operation, became public the Speaker constituted the Committee on whose recommendation the 10 MPs were suspended from the House.
The 10 included five of BJP, three of BSP and one each belonging to RJD and Congress.
The Committee heard the versions of the MPs and Aniruddha BehAL, Editor of Cobrapost.com, a news portal that did the operation for Aaj Tak news channel.
