Cash-for-query scam: BJP issues whip to its MPs
Friday, December 23 2005 16:05 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has issued a whip to all its members to be present in the Lok Sabha and participate in the debate on the motion seeking expulsion of 10 members, including five from the party, named in the cash-for-query scam.

The party has opposed the Bansal Committee recommendation to expel the MPs insisting that "proper procedure" be followed and the accused be given full opportunity to defend themselves before any extreme action is taken.
