E-mail bomb scare: Suspect's image not yet matched
Friday, December 23 2005 16:36 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Madurai: Police are in the process of 'matching' the image of the prime suspect in the 'E-mail bomb threat to Parliament case' and four to six images have been developed, a top police official said today (Dec 23, 2005).

"We are still in the process of matching the images and it is a laborious process," DIG of Police (Tirunelveli Range) Vijay Kumar told sources, denying reports that the exact image was ready.

The image that had appeared in a newspaper was not the correct one. "I don't know how it got leaked. What has been leaked is an image actually deleted," he said.

"We have not sent one image. We have sent four images to the Delhi Police. It is supposed to be secret till perfect matching is done before it is released to the press," he said.
