Cash-for-query scam: Rajya Sabha expels BJP member

New Delhi: Upholding the recommendation of the Ethics Committee, Rajya Sabha today (Dec 23, 2005) expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member Chhattrapal Singh Lodha from the House finding him guilty of accepting money on camera for raising questions.

A motion moved by Ethics Committee Chairman Karan Singh expelling the member was adopted by a voice vote.
