All flights suspended at IGI airport due to fog
Sunday, December 25 2005 10:38 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: The take off and landing of all flights at the Indira Gandhi International airport here was suspended last night (Dec 24, 2005) as dense fog descended on the runway reducing visibility to the minimum.

The last flight to take off from the airport was an Indian Airlines one to Dubai at 9.45 PM and as weather conditions deteriorated, no flights have taken off or landed at the airport, airport sources said late last night.

Different international flights have been diverted to other airports and operations here are likely to remain suspended till 10 AM today, they added.
