Congress is the prime source of corruption: Advani Monday, December 26 2005 16:25 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Mumbai:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L K Advani today (Dec 26, 2005) said Congress was 'the prime source of corruption' in the country and urged party workers to expose that corruption at the grassroots level.
"Corruption will not be eradicated from the country till Congress is defeated as it is the prime source of corruption," Advani said while addressing party workers at the Mumbai
airport after his arrival to attend the five-day BJP meet which begins here today.
Advani said the fact that Congress was responsible for wide corruption was evident from the findings of the Volcker panel report and the exit of Natwar Singh from the Central
ministry.
"I call upon BJP workers to reach grassroots and tell people how corrupt Congress is," Advani said in his brief address after he was accorded a warm reception at the airport.
Advani also paid compliments to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), saying 'BJP has received its culture from the Sangh'.
