BJP's silver jubilee pledge calls for integrity Tuesday, December 27 2005 10:18 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Mumbai:
Barely days after expulsion of its MPs in the cash-for-query scam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pledge for the ongoing silver jubilee gathering of the party here calls upon party workers to follow high standards of probity and integrity in all spheres of life.
"I shall follow high standards of probity and integrity in all spheres of my life," goes the pledge, posted on a special website www.bjp25.org for the BJP national convention, launched by party general secretary Pramod Mahajan recently.
In the wake of the recent instances of indiscipline in its various state units, including the unsavoury Uma Bharti episode in Madhya Pradesh, the party exhorts its workers to 'work with dedication and discipline in the service of the party.'
