Murli Manohar denies seeking Advani's resignation

Mumbai: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Murli Manohar Joshi today (Dec 27, 2005) denied reports that he had sought the resignation of L K Advani as Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha after he quits as party President. He told reporters that he had never made such a demand and expressed surprise as to how such a demand ascribed to him was being reported in the media.

Joshi suspected a 'conspiracy' behind these reports.
