Wednesday, December 28 2005 10:17 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Delhites woke up to a clear and sunny morning with cold wave conditions abating and air traffic operating normally for the third day today (Dec 28, 2005).

The minimum temperature was 7.5 degree celsius, which was normal for this time of the season. Runway Visibility Range at the Indira Gandhi International airport was 1,100 metres at 8.30 AM and flights have been operating as per schedule since early morning.

However, there was mist in the morning which cleared up as the sun began its ascent in the sky.

Foggy conditions in some eastern states affected schedules of some trains reaching Delhi with the Katihar-Delhi Amrapali Express, Gaya-New Delhi Mahabodhi Express and Chennai-New Delhi G T Express running more than five hours late.

Yesterday's minimum temperature was at 7.5 degree celsius, which was normal, while the maximum was recorded at 21.8 degrees, one degree below normal.
