Jehanbad jailbreak: 3 activists of Maoists involved

Patna: Three activists of the proscribed Communist Party of India (CPI) (Maoist) allegedly involved in the 'operation jailbreak' carried out by the ultra-left outfit in Jehanabad on November 13, have been arrested in Patna district, police said today (Dec 28,2005).

Acting on a tip-off, Special task Force (STF) personnel assisted by the district police arrested the hardcore naxalites from naxal strong-hold Bhagwanganj police station area in Patna yesterday (Dec 27,2005), the sources said.

Some country made weapons were recovered from them.
