B'lore attack: K'taka CM convenes high-level meet

Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh has convened a high-level meeting of police and other officials here today (Dec 29, 2005), to review the security measures in Bangalore in the wake of suspected terrorist attack at the Indian Institute of Science.

The Chief Minister also spoke to Union Home Minister Shivaraj Patil and apprised him of the IISc incident, official sources said.

Singh, the sources said, has directed the Bangalore Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
