Moderate earthquake hits Indo-Pak border in Kashmir

New Delhi: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on Richter Scale shook India-Pakistan border region in Kashmir early today (Dec 29, 2005), the Meteorological Department said.

Spotlight: Quake in North India

The temblor, occurred at 3:35 am, was epicentred at 33.8 degrees North and a longitude of 73.8 degrees East, Met Department said.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualty.
