Bangalore: Bomb hoax in city's Oxford College

Bangalore: An anonymous call that a bomb has been planted in a college here today (Dec 30, 2005) turned out to be a hoax, police said.

Police said the reception desk at the "Oxford College" received the call and they carried out a thorough search using a sniffer dog but found no explosive.

A similar call at a software firm here had also turned out to be a prank yesterday.
