Advani to remain Leader of Opposition in Parliament
Saturday, December 31 2005 12:34 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Mumbai: Setting at rest speculation about his continuance as Leader of Opposition in Parliament, outgoing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President L K Advani today (Dec 31, 2005) said the responsibility was still with him.

"Even now, a very important office is still with me. In Parliament, my responsibility is very much there," he told a press conference when asked about his future plans.

"I have been a worker of the party from the beginning and continue to be so irrespective of the positions I have held," he said.

Asked about changes in the party set up, Advani said it was for the new President to decide.
