'B'lore firing: Investigation is in full progress'

Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh today (Jan 2, 2006) said there was 'full progress' in the investigation into the terror attack at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) here last week.

"I can't tell you the day-to-day progress. There is full progress. We will see it in two days", Singh told reporters here.

Asked about the fear of central security agencies about more such strikes at Mangalore in Karnataka, besides some cities of Andhra Pradesh, he said the state government had taken cognisance of it and also precautionary measures.

The IISc terror attack had left M C Puri, professor of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, dead and four others wounded.
