RSP(B) to hold massive agitation in 14 districts Monday, January 2 2006 16:01 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Kochi:
Protesting against the Kerala Government's alleged anti-people policies, the RSP(B) would resort to 'massive agitation', Prof A V Thamarakshan, RSP(B)State General Secretary, said today (Jan 2, 2006).
Addressing a press conference here, Thamarakshan said as a first step the party would organise a massive 'dharna' on Jan 4 in all the 14 districts except Thiruvananthapuram,
where it would be held on Jan 5.
Thamarakshan alleged that the UDF Government, which has approximately 3 months left to complete its term, was betraying the people by announcing several projects.
Thamarakshan also alleged that Congress has entered into an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), helping it 'open its account' in the legislative assembly.
The secret alliance between the two parties has been there for the past several years and has come out openly now, he added.
RSP(B) would support Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the next assembly election, he said hoping there would not be any hindrances in its entering into the LDF fold.
